Tommy Latham, a junior at Marist High in Georgia, placed second in the Boys Race of Champions at the Great American Cross Country Festival at WakeMed Soccer Complex in Cary, N.C. Latham covered the 5-kilometer layout in 14:44.7, one of 11 athletes in the race to eclipse the 15-minute barrier, helping Marist earn eighth place with 326 points.
